About Mrs. Miller
My name is Meagan Miller. I am a former Fawn and Deer! I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University in May 2003. I sat for an extra board to become certified in pediatric nursing in 2013.
I spent 2 years at Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital in the stepdown ICU, then did travel nursing for 1 year, and spent the bulk of my career on an inpatient pediatric surgical unit at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, CA. and as the RN Care Coordinator for Rady Children's Pediatric Surgery Department. I managed the care of 7 general surgeon's patients.
This is my 6th year as the school nurse at DPJH. I'm the proud wife of a Marine Veteran and proud mom of a beautiful teenage daughter & a very energetic, handsome son. Our family loves animals. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I love snow skiing, lounging by our pool, the Houston Astros, and watching volleyball.
