Biography
Hi there! Welcome to my school website! My name is Jaime Parham and I am a born and raised Deer Park girl. I even attended Deer Park Junior High as a student! I graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Psychology and, after being a social worker for a couple years, I went back to school and got my teaching certificate. My passion has always been kids and I am so grateful I get to spend my days with them learning and growing.
This is my 23rd year teaching and my 7th year at DPJH. I spent my early years teaching at Deer Park Elementary. A couple years ago, I also became the Instructional Math Coach for our school. That means I get to help teachers with their teaching, but I’m lucky and still get to teach a half day also!
I am married with 4 children. My oldest son, Colten, is 25 and lives in Clear Lake. My second, Cade, is 23 just graduated from Texas State University. My 3rd son, Wyatt, is junior at DPHS and plays basketball. My daughter, Emery is a 9th grader at DPHS and plays volleyball. Most of my free time is spent cheering them on at all their sporting events!
I love our community and schools and am honored to be a part of such a great district. My goal is to make every child feel welcomed and loved and to make learning fun!
