Paige Project

This year, The Paige Project is benefitting two DPISD students: Bella and Luke.  We have several events planned throughout the rest of the school year through which you can help us support these two amazing students.

Bella is a sixth-grader at Deer Park Junior High, and she was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a type of bone cancer, in the fall.  Her treatment is estimated to take eight months to a year and consists of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation.  Isabella is a ray of sunshine and a social butterfly. She loves to cheer and dance.

Luke is a second-grader at Fairmont Elementary, and he is suffering from a rare genetic disorder that affects the nervous system called X-Linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD).  His treatment has included chemotherapy and a marrow transplant to stop the progression of the disease.  He is vibrant, loving, and dreams of a bright future with endless possibilities.

The events include:

Family Fun Day/Cookoff/Silent & Live Auction/Raffle – Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Come for a fun-filled day including bounce houses, obstacle courses, games, face painting, crafts, a car show, and vendor booths! Chopped beef sandwich meals with chips and a drink will be sold for $10 each, concessions will be sold throughout the day.  You can purchase a wristband for unlimited play for only $25. This will cover the games, bounce houses, face painting, car show, and crafts!  The Family Fun Day will take place at Abshier Stadium, located at 710 West San Augustine Ave. in Deer Park.  Family Fun Day tickets can be purchased the day of the event through Venmo or cash.
